I am an artist and woodsman, living the dream in Cornwall and working in Devon. I made this happen.
I live in a stunning landscape. From the high ground I can look across to the coast and on a clear day Lundy island. Looking inland I can see Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. When the wind blows it is possible to believe you will be blown off your feet.
I used to live in Surrey, along with a large proportion of the population, sharing my space with thousands of cars and aeroplanes as well as people. I used to be a Countryside Warden but have given that up to follow my dream and support my wife in her quest to set up ever more dynamic and fruitful businesses.

So now we live in Cornwall, on a farm 8 miles south of Bude, close to Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven. The views are outstanding, skies are hugh, colourful and black at night, air is clean and food is good. The sea and coast have always inspired and now I have ready access to a new source of inspiration, morning and night.
I've been really lucky to get a part-time job co-ordinating a project in mid Devon. The best of all worlds.
My real passion is for wood and woodlands. Natural processes shape the world around us, yet we have shaped the landscape for centuries. So by managing a woodland, it is possible to find a piece of wood altered by time and nature. Waste to many, inspiration to me!
